Skateboarding

Today, skateboarding is a very popular sport among teenagers and young adults. Skaters do a lot of tricks on railings, ramps, sidewalks, halfpipes, and bowls. Skateboards come in many different models and sizes. The three main types of skateboarding are streetstyle, freestyle, and ramp. Skateboards have three main parts. They are the deck, the trucks, and the wheels. Deck or board are made from several thin layers of wood that pressed and glued together. Two trucks attach to the bottom of a board.

Skateboarding is a sport that requires skill, determination, and balance. You can steer your board in different directions by shifting your body weight. The ollie is the first trick to learn once you’ve learned to control the board. The ollie is a jump that looks like the skater has the board attached to his or her shoes. In ollie, a skateboarder pushes down on th back of his board with one foot, causing front of the board to jump into the air. This technique is the basic for most other skateboarding tricks.
